BUCKEYES BASKETBALL STARTED WITH A VISION,

TO PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH AN AVENUE TO PURSUE THEIR DREAMS.

BASKETBALL IS A GAME THAT CAN light a fire IN A YOUNG MAN'S HEART.

OUR GOAL IS TO CHANNEL THIS PASSION TO INSTILL THE POWER OF EDUCATION AND OPPORTUNITY.

Our mission is to create a diverse, academically focused basketball program for boys who are rising student-athletes throughout the Chicagoland area. To use the game of basketball as a classroom to instill the power of

hard work, respect, compassion, humility, and integrity within each student-athlete.

To provide our players with a genuine opportunity to pursue

personal growth, academic excellence, and athletic success.

"It's more than travel basketball. Buckeyes Basketball affects the whole person. It's more than X's and O's- it's about preparing them for life after basketball. This makes Buckeyes Basketball special."

"I remember all the friends, coaches, teachers, and mentors I had outside of my family  that helped me reach the point I'm at today. I believe Roy Jr. and Roy Sr., along with the Buckeyes staff and volunteers are doing their absolute best to provide the kids in the program with that same positivity, support, and opportunity that I was given as a kid. It's crazy how far the program has come since Roy and I were teammates at St. Joes. I'm thankful and excited to be the face of such a great place for kids to be."

MOTHER OF SAM EBERSOLD- CLASS OF 2017

"I can't say enough great things about the integrity of this program. What Coach Ramos Sr started and Coach Ramos Jr continues to do with these young men year in and year out is nothing short of tremendous. Not only do they teach fundamental basketball, they teach these boys what it means to live daily, pursuing excellence in all areas of life. Our son played two seasons with the Buckeyes and enjoyed every minute of it. What he learned from the coaching staff and his teammates will have a positive impact on his success on and off the court for years to come. Go Buckeyes!"

"You can't live a perfect day without doing something for

someone who will never be able to repay you."
